Did you see the striking black and silver flags at this past weekend's competition? A team of parents made 16 flags in just over 10 hours. The pleasure of seeing the excitement on the Color Guard girls' faces was the fulfillment of those volunteer hours. If you missed out, don't worry; more flag-making is scheduled for this week. Contact Linda Curtin at malrymom@verizon.net if you can spare even an hour this week to help with cutting, sewing or ironing. Ironing is the most time-consuming task -- anyone can iron, right? Join the fun!!!

2009-10 Band Schedule and a message from Mr Goldberg.

    August 27, 2009

Here’s the 09-10 Band Schedule please take a moment to print out the schedule and sign the second sheet for Mr Goldberg.

    Students:

What a fabulous Band Camp week we have had. We have learned a lot,  made tremendous strides to become a cohesive group, and we are looking goooooooood.  We have a lot more to do!

So……Please match the above schedule to your personal calendars this week.  On the first day of school, bring to band class a copy of this schedule where you have initialed EACH date committing yourself to being at the practice, game or competition.

IF you cannot attend, or will be late, or have to leave early – make a note on this sheet AND attach a parent’s note explaining your reasons.  For the good of the whole Band, you need to do your  part to be at as many practices and events as possible.

    Thanks,

    Mr. Aaron Goldberg
